2026 Bible Reading Plan

Make Bible reading a daily practice this year by joining our church community as we hear from God through Scripture!

More Info On TCAC Reading Plan

How much daily reading does this plan entail?

It’s pretty simple: 1 Reading from the Old Testament/Psalms and 1 Reading from the New Testament!

It’s also only for 6 days a week, so you have Sundays to attend corporate worship and as a “catch up day”!

We won’t get through the entire Bible in 2026 at this pace, but that’s ok. The point is to make Bible Reading a daily practice, and to do it together as a church community for sharing and accountability purposes!

Should I do anything other than simply "read it"?

Absolutely! If time allows each day, choose one chapter or a passage from one of the chapters we read that stood out to you and study it!

The difference between “reading” the Bible and “studying” the Bible is often just a pen and paper!

It can also be really helpful to use a study method or tool to ask questions of the passage and slow down to hear what the Spirit is saying through it, such as the SWORD method, 7 ARROWS or SOAP method.

Wait...why is the reading plan only for 3 months?

Sometimes the yearly Bible reading plans often start strong but lose momentum when the year gets busy and get thrown out altogether. (We know this from personal experience!)

A quarterly plan is more attainable in the short term, and hopefully it allows for people to jump into our reading plan at several points throughout the year.

The first quarter leads up to Easter, which will be a great time for us to invite others along into reading the Bible with us for the next three months!

But what if I already have another Bible Reading plan?

That’s great! This is simply an invitation, so you don’t have to give that up and join ours by any means. The point is to get us all into God’s Word!

This is likely not as intense as other yearlong Bible Reading plans out there since it is only 2 chapters a day. The reason for this is so it can be more accessible for newer Bible readers, but even if you’re used to reading through the Bible, this pace allows for you to slow down and do deeper study of Scripture as well.

That being said, you can simply add ours to what you’re already doing, or somehow combine it if you want. You can even just do 1 of our chapters per day.
