Tampa Port Ministries: Seafarers Center
Tampa Port Ministries serves the nations right here in Tampa by providing for international seafarer’s physical, social, and spiritual needs. We regularly serve alongside this ministry helping sort and distribute packages, providing breakfast, and socially engaging the seafarers on cruise ships while they’re in port in our city. While we often go out in groups, the Seafarer Center is always in need of individual volunteers!
A Door of Hope
A Door of Hope provides hope for kids in crisis by providing loving, Christian foster homes in west-central Florida. Our church serves the families of our city through regularly providing meals, childcare, and prayer to those with foster children in their care. Selah Freedom
Selah Freedom is an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization with the mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited. We have served alongside them by helping with renovations to their safe home and continue to mobilize our community in individual roles through survivor mentorship.
Keeping Tampa Bay Beautiful
KTTB is a non-profit with a mission to promote a culture of environmental stewardship in the Tampa Bay area. In partnership with them, we participate in regular clean-up projects along the Tampa Riverwalk.
Channelside Academy of Math & Sciences
Channelside Academy is one of our neighborhood’s schools, where families are invested in through their children’s education. We serve on-campus through building teacher relationships and investing in their faculty.
Rampello K-8 Downtown Partnership Magnet School
Rampello is one of two k-8 schools in downtown Tampa that make the city great through their investment in local families! We serve on-campus through building teacher relationships and look to mobilize our church body through student mentorship.
Friends of the Riverwalk
Friends of the Riverwalk works in partnership with the city to develop, activate, and promote Tampa’s downtown waterfront. They do this by hosting community events, providing ways for neighbors to get connected, and keeps Tampa beautiful. We partner with this organization by sending volunteer teams out to their bi-monthly and annual events.
Tampa Downtown Partnership
The Tampa Downtown Partnership exists to advocate for downtown Tampa through the network of businesses and organizations that make up the professional community of the city. They are committed to seeing Tampa flourish as a diverse space where its residents can learn, live, work, and play.
