Advent means “arrival” and it is a season where we look to the arrival of Christ. However, the Bible actually speaks of two arrivals of Christ. This is why Advent is filled with hope, as we look back and celebrate Christmas, and also look forward to the second coming, when Christ returns for us in glory!
