The Gospel

The Gospel is the heart of the Christian faith! It’s the good news that God sent His son Jesus to live a perfect life on our behalf, die a substitutionary death to pay for our sin, and rise again from the grave to offer us new life in His Spirit.

The Trinity

God is the Creator of all things and exists eternally in three persons in a Triune relationship: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He became a man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was buried, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven to redeem sinful people. (Hebrews 1:3)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the supernatural agent who applies salvation to sinful people by regenerating, indwelling, sanctifying, and sealing them until the day of Christ’s return. (John 15:26)

The Bible

God, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote the Bible through men and without error. It is fully authoritative, clear, sufficient, and necessary in all matters of life for followers of Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

Humanity

God created us in His image to worship Him and give Him glory. This is true of both men and women, who are equal and complementary partners in God’s mission and reflect His beauty, goodness, and creativity. (Genesis 1:26-27)

Sin & Salvation

All people are sinful and in need of salvation. Salvation is offered to all by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8)

Baptism

Baptism by immersion is a church ordinance that represents a person’s first public act of confession, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. It is an outward expression of a new inward reality. (Romans 6:3-5)

The Church

The church is the body of Christ on earth and a movement of disciple-making disciples. Every Christian should be identified with a local church for the purpose of mutual encouragement, spiritual growth, and accountability. (Acts 2:42)

Eternity

Jesus will one day return to earth to judge humanity and to rule and reign with his saints forever. (Matthew 25:46)
