What is a Discipleship Space?

Discipleship Spaces allow you to connect with others in a meaningful way, learn about the Bible, and apply its teachings to your life...moving from mere knowledge to true gospel transformation!

Currently, we offer three different discipleship spaces: Sunday School (before Sunday service), Midweek Bible Study (Wednesday Nights), and Discipleship Groups (various times).

In discipleship spaces, we get to practice the ABC's of Christian community: Accountability, Belonging, & Care.

Accountability

Smaller discipleship spaces provide accountability as you journey with Christ! While accountability might not be a popular idea in today’s culture, it is important for us as we strive to lead gospel-centered lives in today’s world! These smaller groupings help us sharpen one another, encourage one another, and spur one another on towards love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Belonging

Everyone longs to truly belong, and the good news of the gospel is that even though you are more flawed than you ever dare admit, you are more accepted and loved in Christ than you ever dared hope! While we pray that our church community embodies this as a whole, discipleship spaces help us foster a sense of belonging for everyone at our church.

Care

It’s hard to care for everyone on a macro level, but smaller discipleship spaces help scale that down to focus on caring for a few deeply! No one is meant to walk through this life alone. Instead, we are to carry each other’s burdens (Gal 6:2) and disciple one another as we follow after Christ!
