What is Discipleship?
A disciple is simply a learner. It is someone who is learning how to follow Jesus. (And in this life, we never really arrive!) As a church community, we are disciples who help disciple one another as we all grow closer to Christ.
Discipleship happens all throughout our church, but especially in intentional discipleship spaces that allow you to form deep friendships where you learn the Bible and learn to apply its teachings to your everyday life, leading to true gospel transformation!
Currently, we offer 3 Discipleship Spaces:
Midweek Bible Study happens *most* Wednesday nights at 7pm. (Check group schedule for up to date information and the current study!) In addition to building community, the purpose of this corporate Bible study is to learn how to better study the Bible on your own by discovering practical tools to hear God’s voice through Scripture!
Sunday School meets on Sundays before our worship service at Embassy Suites to build community and to study foundations of the Christian faith! (Check group schedule for up to date information and the current group study, and to sign up!)
Discipleship groups enable us to foster deep community and lasting friendships as we follow Jesus together! Discipleship Groups are closed groups that run on a semester basis, and they consist of 3-6 same gender individuals who gather regularly to commit themselves to sharing life, studying the Bible, and personal accountability.
