Why Church?

We get it.

People have their reasons for staying away from church.

Church people can be judgmental and hypocritical, and honestly, we have some of those.

You may have been hurt by the church before, and we’ve unfortunately witnessed that, too.

Also, there is no way to empirically prove that there is a God. (Granted, there is no way to prove there isn’t a God, either.)

So why would you step foot in a church, or return to church if you left?

Here us out. Consider these four reasons:

TRANSCENDENCE

We spend most of our lives looking down, but the church forces you to look up and consider the big questions of life!

COMMUNITY

Church surrounds you with a positive community that cares for you and wants the best for you!

JUSTICE

The church has always provided the means and a motivation for doing justice in this world!

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Growth and wellness are buzzwords in our culture, and virtually everyone agrees we have a spiritual component to us. The church gives us a foundation and accountability needed for us to grow spiritually!
